B1–B4 · THE WALKTHROUGH

Tap, pick, catch. That's the whole machine.

No app to download, no account to make, no drop time to set an alarm for. An EdinCard machine works the way a vending machine should: you walk up, you pay, a sealed pack lands in the tray.

AT THE MACHINE

Four steps, about thirty seconds.

  1. Read the row

Every slot is labelled with a code (A1, B2, C3) and a card showing exactly what that slot dispenses and what it costs. Nothing is hidden, nothing is a mystery box.

  2. Tap to pay

Contactless card, Apple Pay or Google Pay on the reader. The price shown on the slot is the price charged — no surcharge, no minimum spend, no cash accepted.

  3. Select your slot

Punch the slot code on the keypad. The coil turns, the pack drops into the tray, and the display confirms the vend against your payment.

  4. Open it, or don't

Rip it there at the machine or take it home sealed. Once it's in the tray, it's yours either way.

Paying

Contactless only — Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Payment is handled by our card processor and settles like any other card terminal; EdinCard never sees or stores your card number.

Restocking

Machines are visited on a fixed schedule, not "when someone remembers". Every visit is a refill, a slot-by-slot stock check and a mechanical test vend, logged per machine.

Authenticity

All product is sealed and bought through legitimate trade supply. No repacks, no weighed packs, no resealed product — ever. Read the stock policy.

THE LINE WE DRAW

It's a shop, not a slot machine.

Card vending has a reputation problem, and most of it is earned. Weighed packs, resealed product, "mystery boxes" priced on hope, machines that take the money and turn no coil. EdinCard is built to be the boring, honest version of that.

You are buying a named, sealed item at a printed price. What's inside is whatever the manufacturer put in it — the same odds as any pack off a shop shelf, no better and no worse.

WHAT YOU WILL NEVER FIND IN A SLOT

  • Weighed, sorted or "mapped" packs
  • Resealed or previously opened product
  • Mystery boxes with undisclosed contents
  • A random-prize or gambling mechanic
  • Prices that differ from the slot label
  • Anything we wouldn't buy ourselves

WHEN A VEND FAILS

Machines jam. Here's what we do about it.

Rarely, a coil sticks or a pack hangs. It's a mechanical product, so it happens. What matters is how fast it gets fixed.

Note the details

Take a photo if you can, and note the venue, the slot code and roughly what time it happened. That's everything we need to match it to the vend log.

Email us within 48 hours

Send it to info@edincardvending.com, or use the contact form and pick "machine issue".

Replacement or refund

We check the log against your report and sort it — a replacement pack held at the venue, or a refund to the card you paid with. Your call.

Please don't shake it

Tipping or rocking a machine to free a stuck pack is how people get hurt and how units get damaged. Tell the venue staff, then email us. We'd much rather refund you than replace a machine.

ACCESS

Built to be usable standing up, in a hurry, by anyone.

Slot labels are printed in high-contrast type at a readable size, keypad codes are short and spoken aloud by no one, and there's no timed sequence to complete — take as long as you need between paying and selecting.

If a machine's placement makes it hard for you to reach or read, tell us which venue. Placement is something we can actually change, and we'd rather hear it than not.
